- If an authorization has been settled and the transaction has been created, we are unable to cancel it. Transactions can't be canceled and if a transaction is fraudulent, the customer should dispute the transaction via Visa by calling the Toll-Free Number located on the back of the card.
- If the authorization has not been settled it is indeed an authorization hold on the account. Authorization holds can only be forced released by Unit Support if you are willing to assume the risk or wait for the hold to fall off. However, if the hold is fraudulent it is recommended to not release it and to follow the guidance above.
